About
Sil Stubb is the pen name of Silvia Stubblefield — a Brazilian American author, illustrator, and Army National Guard veteran living in Pittsburg, California.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Silvia moved with her family to the San Francisco Bay Area at age ten. She has lived across many parts of the Bay, worked many jobs — sometimes three at a time — attended multiple colleges, and earned her Bachelor of Arts.
She is married with two children. In the hours between house chores and motherly duties, she writes. "When I am not doing house chores, not taking care of my motherly duties, I am summing up an exciting plot to put together over some hot pages that would just burn off the screen."
Her debut novel, California Wear, a short contemporary romance, was published by Dorrance Publishing Co. and is available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and most major booksellers. Since then she has built a wide catalog spanning romance, crime thriller, drama, children's fiction, action adventure, and non-fiction — with fourteen completed manuscripts currently available for publishing offers.
